Done high school and finally home from NYC. !
I personally love Brooklyn, Nyc, in Williamsburg of course, I fell the mood there is very stylish and somewhat "hippie". The village's in the city are not doing too bad as well...Besides all of the people with the people that carry around their high ego's along with their Birkin bags. It appears to me that this type of New Yorker only has a "golden" credit card with no real sense of a "gold-star" style.

I found my way up to the Brooklyn Bridge and fell completely in love with my city again. Today I am pulling off all vintage.

I couldn't resist but capturing some amazing shots of a few people with what I like the call the classic "hipster" style.

Cozy long Swedish inspired dress from Forever 21. However the vest is from UrbanOutfitters. I wore the dress out on the town today and the only way to keep the bottom from getting dirty was by tying it up.

After I walked through the dirty parts of town I realized just how much I love the bottom of the dress in the bunch and left it for the rest of the day. Maybe it will be my new summertime signature !

Why is it that whenever I think about prom I think about the classic movie Carrie. Oh the gym class torture and the thick wavy hair... Is it that we all secretly wish we attended this cruel high school? I know I do!

The prom dresses are so classic... but a little too far fetched for our era, unfortunately I am still in love with them, even if this generation is not. I must admit I do regret not pulling a classic 70's dress at my prom this past weekend.



I may have not worn the dress of my dreams, but at least my prom was not a complete disaster with a ever so slightly crazy girl named Carrie killing everyone in the end.
Her prom may have been killed off but at least it was done in a classy style!



I played prom with a little sass and class, in a papaya colored gown, with my two bff's by my side.

There is something magical happening in the movie Fear, Loathing, and Las Vegas. I'm not just talking about the two characters crazy acid trip but the amazing outfits and colors! You'd have to be wild to not notice this incredible fantasy land which spins through the rainbow.

Fashion is a world of fantasy and make believe that we travel to escape the boring reality of daily life. However, this summer daily life is going to be exciting again. Now when you walk down the streets, sweating and hot, be prepared to see color color color!
